City of Your Final Destination

When an American student, Omar, sets out to write an authorized biography of a recently deceased Uruguayan novelist, he encounters unexpected roadblocks. Upon hearing of the author’s widow, brother and mistress’ refusal to grant permission to write the novel, Omar journeys to the lush South American landscape in hopes of changing their minds. Omar’s presence stirs up both fear and hope within the fractured family— all while he navigates through affairs, smuggling and backstabbing.
